Reflection on AS Media

While studying AS media, I gained many skills. Not only do I know how to create, but what to look for. I can't watch any television program without pointing out the connotations of the mise-en-scene. If anything, I have a deeper appreciation for all media texts.

So, as it is the dawning of A2 media, I thought I'd reflect on specifically what I have learnt, understood and gained for AS media.
Here we go!

Capturing the Mise-en-scene;
I now know what everything I see on the TV, on posters, magazines, in movies mean. I understand why there are specific colours, prepositions, camera angles, sound and editing techniques. It has made me realize that, in these situation, everything really does happen for a reason.

Presentation;
While blogging, I've found that plain text isn't that amusing, and can become boring after a while. I have been able to use different internet facilities to jazz it up a bit. For example I have used slideshare, goanimate, emaze and social media sites such as twitter and tumblr.

Confidence;
Yes, I've become more confident when it comes to physically creating things. I usually doodle ideas on paper anyway, but I've been give the opportunity to actually make something, and no matter how it turns out to be in the end, I'm glad I gave it a shot.
